Why must we give thanks and praise to our God?

Psalm 100:1-4 says, “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise. Be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”
Many times we often forget to meaningfully praise and worship God for his favor and blessings.

The Role of the Pastor's Wife

The Bible does not specifically state what the role of the Pastor’s wife should be but we do know from John 15:16 that by virtue of the fact that you are married to your husband who is a Pastor, you are to be of service alongside him in the ministry. The position of the Pastor’s wife should be viewed as one of honor. It is a position not given to every woman and such we must accept this with gratitude. Not to accept it or to complain is a dishonor to God.
